International Friends

Welcome!

International Friends offers help and friendship to our international neighbors. All nationalities are welcome. We offer many classes and activities in easy English, especially for international adults and children.

One of our staff members speaks Japanese, and we have the ability to translate materials into Japanese, Korean, German, and Spanish when needed.

All the staff and team members are eagerly waiting to welcome our new friends and see our old friends again.

2026-2027 Class Registration Information

St. Matthew インターナショナル・フレンズレジストレーション 2026-2027

  • Registration begins at 12:00am, Michigan time (EST), on Monday, August 3, 2026 for classes that will begin the week of September 14, 2026.
  • You can see the class and registration information below.
  • Beginning August 3, you may register by email, fax, or in person (Office Hours 9 am to 4pm).
  • Please do not call the office to register on August 3.
  • Everyone who registers between 12:00am, August 3 and 12:00am, August 4 will have an equal chance to be accepted into each of their classes.
    • Acceptance into class and the waiting list will be picked by a computer generated lottery, not by the time of day you registered. 
    • Each class you register for will have a separate lottery.
  • Any registration submitted after the time above, will be taken in the order it was received.
  • You will receive an email to tell you each class you are accepted into, or if you are on the waiting list by August 17.
  • There is no fee for our classes, but there is a fee for child care.  Please carefully read through the information on the “Child Care Registration Instructions” form on our website.
