Winterfest

Winter fun for the whole family! FREE and open to the community!

St. Matthew’s annual Winterfest will be held on Sunday, February 1 from 11:30-1:30 at our Wixom Campus.

This event is a great way for St. Matthew and Hearts and Hands children to celebrate this Winter season! There will be winter-themed activities for the family to enjoy and a nice hot-dog lunch (and chili to judge)! If weather permits, please bring a sled as well for sledding and dress warm as this event will have activities outside. Let it snow!

CHILI COOKOFF!

Do you make a great chili? We would love to have you participate in the Winterfest Chili Cook-off! The Cook-off will take place after church on Sunday, February 1 at the Wixom Campus. If you wish to enter a chili, please sign-up at the Welcome Center or email [email protected]. Signing up ahead of time is not required but it can help us plan for electrical needs.

Please have your chili in a crock-pot at the Wixom Campus no later than 10:45 am (before church at 10:00 am is preferred). You do not have to bring a chili to participate; you can be a judge! Tasting and judging will begin shortly after the 10:00 worship service ends. Can’t wait to see who has the top chili this year!
