Do Something

Sunday, April 30, 2017 to Monday, June 26, 2017

The disciples looked at the enormous crowd and said,  “Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”  But [Jesus] answered, “You give them something to eat.” Mark 6:36-37

Or said another way… “You do something.”

What followed was the miraculous feeding of the 5000.  The challenge to feed so many people must have seemed impossible, but all things are possible with God!

This April 30 – June 25, we will begin a new series called, “Do Something.”  In our Sunday services we will we dig into God’s Word in Acts 1-9 learning how the early church joined Jesus in His mission.  Not only that, we will invite you to do something and tangible support God’s mission with others at St. Matthew.

Two times before, through the Pay It Forward and Nehemiah Project, we have raised thousands of dollars for Pastor Daniel in India, Pastor Gladden in Pontiac and Hospitality House.  This time we are going to be adding more mission opportunities and want you to be a part of making a difference.   See where it started in this video www.st-matthew.org/payitforwardschool

Be sure to come on April 30th to hear more information, or contact Pastor Rob at rob.nelson@st-matthew.org   It’s time for us to Do Something!
