  • Chapter 5 - New Commands and a New Covenant

Imagine that you were transported back in time to Mt. Sinai on the day that the mountain shook, there was thunder and lightening, a very loud trumpet blast, God spoke the 10 Commandments, and the people asked that Moses speak to God privately.  Then, imagine that you were transported to a cleft of a rock with Moses, where God passed by and let you see His back (because no sinful human may see God's face and live) and God describes the meaning of His personal name, "The LORD [Yahweh], the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.  Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished."

How would such an experience change how you worship?  How would such an experience change how you live and follows God's commandments?

Let's find out what a difference it makes as we read and study Chapter 5 of 'The Story'- New Commands and a New Covenant.
