Celebrate Recovery This Week

This week at Celebrate Recovery, Sue will be presenting the lesson titled SPIRITUAL INVENTORY Pt 1. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." Psalm 139:23-24. This lesson will give us a look at our additional shortcomings (sins) that can prevent God from working effectively in our lives and help us search our hearts.

On May 23rd come to the Wixom Campus (48380 Pontiac Tr. Wixom, MI 48393) in the Big Room at 7:00 pm for the SPIRITUAL INVENTORY lesson and worship. Join us early for a meal at 6:30; Open-Share Groups and Newcomer 101 meet at 8:00; and Cross-Talk Cafe meets at 9:00 PM. Childcare is available on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month and will be available again on May 30th.

The Bible clearly states “all have sinned.” It is my nature to sin, and it is yours too. None of us is untainted. Because of sin, we’ve all hurt ourselves, we’ve all hurt other people, and others have hurt us. This means each of us need repentance and recovery in order to live our lives the way God intended.

Celebrate Recovery is a small group based ministry that seeks to help people struggling with any hurt, hang-up or habit, which is not just addiction, but anything that keeps us stuck. Healing is found in the love, power and word of Jesus Christ through community with the encouragement, and acceptance of others. All of this takes place in a safe, confidential environment.
