Celebrate Recovery - Tuesday, May 21, 7 pm - Wixom Campus

This Tuesday night at Celebrate Recovery is a testimony night. We will hear Nate’s story about mental health struggles. At the age of 10, mental health became very real to Nate. Falling into depression, he suffered from suicidal thoughts and even tried to take his own life. After hitting rock bottom, he gave his life to Christ and got involved in Celebrate Recovery. Given his own experiences with and the prevalence of mental health issues (affecting one in five adults), Nate is a strong advocate for those struggling with mental health issues and serves as the National Director of the Mental Health Initiative for Celebrate Recovery. The purpose of the initiative is to help break the stigma of mental health issues and offer a safe place where those with mental health issues can open up about their struggles and find acceptance, grace and healing through the power of Jesus at Celebrate Recovery. “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
