Are you looking for a simple way to volunteer at St. Matthew? AA is held on Monday evenings from 8:00 - 9:00 at our Wixom campus. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers who are willing to get in a rotation to help out with this ministry. It's as simple as opening up the doors, telling people which room the meeting is in, and locking the building at the end of the night. During the meeting, you get a chance to enjoy some peace and quiet in the lobby, which is great for reading, bible study, knitting, or any other of your favorite hobbies.

Calling all Motorcycle Riders our next ride will be Saturday July 29. We will meet at the Walled Lake campus at 9 AM with first bike out at 9:15am. Plan is to head south towards Chelsea stopping for lunch in Brighton.

This week at Celebrate Recovery, Megan, the CR Ministry Leader from The Naz, will come to share her testimony of her struggles with abandonment, emotional dysfunction, sexual abuse & assault, perfectionism, low-self esteem and co-dependency. She finally made the choice to walk into Celebrate Recovery when she realized she was powerless over her struggles. She joined a step study and sought other help. God met her there and brought hope and healing to her heart.

The Christian Citizenship Committee is sponsoring a family movie night at Wixom on Friday, July 28th at 7PM. Gavin Stone, a washed-up former child star is forced to do community service at a local mega- church and pretends to be a Christian so he can land the part of Jesus in their annual Passion Play only to discover that the most important role of his life is far from Hollywood.” Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.
