Celebrate Recovery is in need of volunteers willing to do childcare on Tuesday nights from 7-9 pm. We currently have volunteers to cover the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, but would like to offer childcare every week. If you have a passion for caring and nurturing children from infant to 12 years old, and would like to help parents that need to attend our program to find healing in Christ then please contact Ministry Leader, Sue Wiberg at swiberg065@comcast.net or 248-310-0458.

This week at Celebrate Recovery we will hear how anger and control issues nearly caused Libby to lose her marriage and relationships with her sons, as she strived for the perfect family. God got her attention, healing her family when she acknowledged her need for recovery and took the steps to work through her issues. Come hear this testimony of a struggle with codependency and how God broke through to Libby’s heart to let go and trust Him with all. Isaiah 26:3 “you will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you.”

Come and join us September 9, from 9:00 AM to Noon, for a properties clean up at the Walled Lake campus. We will be removing vines, roots, and other vegetation that is growing along the new Minda Court berm. Mulch will also be added once the area is prepped. Please bring your shovels, axes, gloves and rakes. Lunch will be provided.

If you cannot participate but would like to assist, please sign up to provide bottled water or snacks.
