The St. Matthew Foundation Board manages funds that have been provided by generous donors over the years.  The funds are invested in and managed by Thrivent Financial, much like a 401k.  These funds are intended to be used for projects not included in the overall yearly budgets.  The principal remains in the funds, while a portion of the interest gained each year is distributed via grants – much like an Endowment fund.  These grants have supported many items in various areas of St. Matthew over the years.

In 2019, the Foundation Board was happy to award 8 grants to fund $4,569 in projects for the church and $740.29 in projects for the school.  The projects that we were able to fund are:

AWPC’s mission is to make sure women have real options when faced with an unintended pregnancy.  We offer life-affirming choices for the whole family. During the month of February, take home a baby bottle from the welcome center and fill it with your spare change or checks made out to AWPC.  At the end of the month, simply return the bottles to the welcome center or church office. Your help provides funding for AWPC’s many ministries that change and save lives.

You will FLIP for St. Matthew Lutheran School!
