Celebrate Recovery

COME AS YOU ARE….

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, Bible-based recovery program created to help people overcome and find freedom from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups.  The program follows thePDF iconTwelve Steps and Their Biblical Comparisons and PDF iconThe Eight Principles Based on the Beatitudes as preached by Jesus during the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5).  Life is not meant to be traveled alone.  We all need the encouragement of others and a reminder that God loves and cares for us.  Celebrate Recovery offers the opportunity to participate in a group fellowship where love and hope combine with God's purpose to mend our lives.  You are welcome to come as you are to Celebrate Recovery.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to change.

“Who You See Here, What You Hear Here, When You Leave Here, Let It Stay Here”

Anonymity and confidentiality are taken very seriously at Celebrate Recovery to ensure it remains a safe place for all who attend. The pledge above is recited each week by everybody in attendance to reinforce and remind us of the importance of keeping Celebrate Recovery safe.

Every changed life is a miracle no matter how "big" or "small" the change seems to be. However, if there was an award for the "Most Changed Life" at Celebrate Recovery, Randy would certainly be a finalist. In his old life, Randy couldn't stay clean or sober long enough to keep a job or even take care of himself. He ended up homeless and, some would say, hopeless. Thankfully, the term "lost cause" does not exist in God's vocabulary and Randy came to know Jesus Christ about 8 years ago through Celebrate Recovery.

This week at Celebrate Recovery, Sue will be presenting the lesson, SPIRITUAL INVENTORY PART 2. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." Psalm 139:23-24. This lesson will give us a look at the second half of our shortcomings (sins) that can prevent God from working effectively in our lives and help us search our hearts.
