Good evening from India... The church service was from 11am to about 4pm today.( yes that is right) There were a total of 12 people that were baptized. We came into the service as a team and went down the center of the people with everyone clapping and cheering. The music was outstanding, each song lasted over 8 to 10 minutes. ( We would like their team to come to sing at our prayer and praise team.) Our team was asked to come on stage to sing two songs.
After the service we made some balloon animals and that was very special, the children were very happy. There was a lot of picture taking and fellowship. Karie is very famous at the picture time, boys look out.
I am now turning the blog over to Sandy ( just like at home I can't do anything right)! Here is Sandy..
In addition, Pastor Rob preached the sermon for the day with translation of course. The sermon was about Philip and the Ethiopian. After the service, everyone was fed dinner sitting on the floor of the church. 350 people were all served in 20 minutes. That meant a lot of dishes - no paper plates here.
