Today is an amazing day of weather.  One minute it is cold, windy and raining.  The next minute the sun is shining.  It has been doing that most of the day.  It is a good day to stay inside a controlled environment.

It seems to me that this an anology of God.  (Stay with me here.)  There is nothing in life that is constant and always will be there: health, family, friends, job, financial security, pleasure, etc.  All of these things come and go.  But in the midst of this changing weather, there is one--and only one-- controlled environment: God.  His love for us in Jesus is a contast and will always be there.

This came to mind today as I was thinking that the only thing truly worth living for is Jesus.  Everything else is a chasing after wind.
