Timeless Truths

Timeless Truths are the Christian beliefs and teachings found in the Bible that help us know who Jesus is and how to grow closer to and more like him.

Sunday Night Bible Class will resume on Sunday, February 12, from 6:30-7 pm in the baesment just before SNG.

Three classes are being offered in February to help parents pass on a legacy of faith to their children. For parents of two year olds, there is a "Picture Bible" class to learn how to do age-appropriate family devotions. For parents of four year olds, we're offering "Worship Kit" to help you teach children about worship.

Thanks to a generous donation new pew Bibles were installed in the Walled Lake main worship center for Christmas.  St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pontiac received a donation of all the old pew Bibles that they needed.  Our school and youth ministry also have taken all that they needed.  We currently have about 50 copies in good shape and about 100 damaged copies of the pew Bibles.  If any members would like to have them, please contact the church office by January 31.

Grab a cup of coffee and join us in the main worship area for adult Bible study at the Wixom campus at 10:15 am during the Sunday morning education hour.

St. Matthew Lutheran School has openings in grades Preschool through Grade 8. Highly qualified teachers and committed parents assist in cultivating a learning environment that stimulates superior standardized test scores. Numerous after-school athletic, dramatic, and creative opportunities offer students experiences in which they can cultivate a sense of team work, dedication, and commitment. Most importantly, your child's spiritual walk will be nurtured on a daily basis.

St. Matthew's confirmation ministry exists to connect our young people to God's Word in a relevant way so the Holy Spirit can produce life-changing faith. It is head-to-heart learning, as young people interact with their parents, peers, and other mature disciples to help them make sense of our basic Christian beliefs so they can personally "own them".  It is for students in grade 7 or higher. Classes are offered in seven "units" of classes at various days, times, and seasons of the year.
