Personal Practices are disciplines that grow our faith, such as prayer, reflection on scripture, devotions and periodic private time with God.

The 2011 contribution statements have been printed and placed in your hallway mailboxes.  If you do not see yours or if you do not have a hallway mailbox, you may pick yours up at the Welcome Center on Sunday or from the church office during the week.

Did you know that CEF is designed to allow you to see your savings dollars build while expanding the mission and ministry of congregations like St. Matthew?  Did you know that CEF provides investors with interest rates on their savings dollars at competitive rates generally better than most banks or credit unions?  If you did, thank you for being a partner in this ministry.  If you didn't know, then consider how you can partner in t his ministry.  To meet personally with Bob List, our volunteer CEF representative, contact him at 248-349-4092 or via email.

It's time to gather your Mites and bring them to the church lobby and deposit in the large mite box. God bless you for your contribution.

The Church Extension Fund of the Michigan District has been blessed with another year of healthy growth, and therefore, has sent St. Matthew a check in the amount of $6,036.36. Looking to connect with members of the Church on a more personal level?  Are you interested in seeing what a small group is all about?  Consider joining or starting a small group.  We have a wide range of existing groups from singles to couples and families.  We also have groups for seniors, men and women.  There are plenty of resources at the Church or we can help you locate studies for a particular topic that your group may be interested in.

Join us every Wednesday night at 5:30 pm in the Walled Lake church library to lift up our church and community in prayer.  Please come and join us for as long as you are able.  There is no pressure to pray out loud.
