Through small groups we are encouraged, supported, and instructed — just as Jesus' own small group of disciples were — as we seek to grow as followers of Jesus.

For those who are still questioning whether or not to follow Jesus, small groups are the perfect place to try it out, ask questions, and receive prayer. Spiritual growth happens best in the intimate context of a small group, where we can connect with one another and build relationships through the Holy Spirit in prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and service.

Small groups at St. Matthew are designed to incorporate everyone into a “Caring Community”. Small Groups come in a variety of formats. While the majority of the groups meet in homes, there are also some who meet at the church. Groups are located in various communities surrounding and including the Walled Lake and Wixom communities.
