Pastor Paul Moldenhauer
Storefront windows let you peek into a shop to see what is inside. Well, if you’re interested, let me give you a peek into what’s inside me. What you’ll see is that Jesus is my greatest treasure. What He has done for me is way more than I’ll ever deserve; and way more than I can ever repay. So, I value Jesus more than anything. He’s so good that I long to be a “man after God’s own heart.” Because of that, I also desire to be a “God-run” person who increasingly lives the better, adventure-filled life shared in His book, the Bible. Finally, my life prayer is that would use me however He desires so that as many people as possible might receive this treasure of Jesus. That’s what’s inside me. On the outside, there a husband of 35+ years, a father of five, a grandfather of six (and still counting), a sports fan,…and a guy who gets to do what he loves: be a pastor (and they even pay me for it ☺).
Pastor Rob Nelson
I joined the St. Matthew community in the summer of 2008. I have lived all over the U.S. and across the ocean. I was a military brat, pastor's kid and missionary kid. All these opportunities have given me a heart for ministry cross-culturally and a desire to reach those who question God's love for them. I enjoy spending time with my family. I've been blessed to be married to Nicki for 15 years and I have three growing boys. Our kids lead us in a further appreciation for the spiritual discipline of prayer…often. I am always amazed at the uniqueness God has given me in my own family and I am astounded at the wisdom of God as he has created his diverse church. Each of us brings our own unique experiences and gifts to the mix. I pray that you can see how God makes you perfected in Christ and important to others. And I hope if you should choose to visit us that St. Matthew may be a church family for you!
